Scramble Tournament Rules:

Each foursome is given the Vegas Scramble Chips before teeing off.One person of the group will be designated to distribute the chips as the event occurs.Only the designated ball chosen by the group to play is used to determine what chip is given out. Each chip can be earned only once per round. For example if your group has two birdies for the round only one can be used to determine the final score.Once the chip is in play it remains in play for the entire round. The value of the chips are as follows:

Eight or more -3
3 Putt -3
Seven (exactly 7) -2
Sand -1
1 Putt +1
Sandy +2
Birdie +2
Closest to the Pin +2 (chip is earned when ball is within the length of the Pin on Par Threes)
Chip-In +3
Eagle +3

The winner is determined by the highest point total.Ties will be broken by going to the score card and finding the lowest score at the lowest handicapped hole.

There is strategy involved in obtaining the highest possible score. For example in order to earn a Sandy Chip ( up and down in 2 from the sand) your group will have to designate a ball in the sand as your group’s selected ball sometime during the round.Risk vs.Reward.

The highest possible score is 12.

10 chips ,1000 laughs ,have fun.

Regular Individual Play Tournament

Scoring is the same as above except it is the last person holding the chip at the end of the round that uses that chip for a score. For example if player A gets a birdie on hole number 3 and Player B gets a birdie on hole number 5 Player A has to give up the birdie chip to player B and only player B can use the chip for a score assuming he has it at the end of the round. This holds true for all of the chips.
