The WALKER 18571 SoundFX® Exhaust Muffler is engineered as a premium, direct-fit replacement for select Chevrolet Malibu, Chevrolet Classic, and Oldsmobile Cutlass models. Manufactured from 100% aluminized steel, this SoundFX® muffler provides superior corrosion resistance and improved durability compared to traditional low-carbon steel options.
Featuring internal partitions and mechanically joined tubes, the 18571 is designed to withstand thermal expansion and contraction without distortion. The integrated internal drainage system helps reduce moisture buildup, prolonging service life. OE-style louvered tubes enhance acoustic performance by lowering radiated noise and replicating factory exhaust sound—not the harsher tone produced by perforated tubes.
