The WALKER 18218 SoundFX® Exhaust Muffler is engineered as a direct-fit, premium replacement for GM full-size Suburban models equipped with the 5.7L V8 engine. Constructed from 100% aluminized steel, this SoundFX® muffler offers superior corrosion resistance and extended durability when compared to traditional low-carbon steel units.
Mechanical interior joints, internal partitions, and spun-locked heads allow for proper thermal expansion and contraction, helping prevent distortion and prolonging the life of the muffler. The integrated internal drainage system minimizes moisture buildup, further enhancing corrosion resistance.
Designed with OE-style louvered tubes, this muffler delivers reduced radiated noise and restores smooth, factory-style exhaust sound. With direct-fit pipe connections and OE-style routing, the 18218 installs easily with no welding or fabrication required.
