The Turbosmart WG40 Gen V CompGate 40mm External Wastegate (Part Number: turTS-0552-1202) is engineered to provide precise control for applications involving compressed gas and CO2. Designed with a large tuning window and significant pressure differentials between the top and lower actuator housings, this wastegate excels in demanding operational conditions. Unlike traditional poppet-style actuators that typically reach 2-3 times the base spring pressure, the CG / CO2 version leverages additional reference signals, high-pressure gas, and CO2 to achieve extreme pressure multiples, ensuring exceptional performance in high-demand environments. The unit features a high-quality Nitronic 60 valve guide and a high-temperature 347 stainless steel body, delivering outstanding durability and thermal resistance. Its modular design enables easy actuator interchangeability, allowing for adaptable configurations to meet various application needs. The wastegate is equipped with user-adjustable actuator positions, providing fine-tuning flexibility for optimal operation. Its class-leading CFD and bench-validated flow performance ensure efficient gas handling, while the liquid actuator cooling option helps maintain consistent performance under high thermal loads. The device is secured with strap-type V-band clamps for reliable installation. Additional features include a Hall Effect position sensor upgrade option for enhanced monitoring and diagnostics.
