Description:
The NGK V-Power 4838 Spark Plug features NGK’s V-cut center electrode design, which directs the spark to the edge of the electrode to help the spark develop more rapidly. This can increase ignitability and reduce quenching for consistent combustion. Built with OE-style construction, it includes trivalent metal plating for anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties, corrugated ribs to help prevent flashover, and a pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator for strength and heat transfer. A copper core aids heat removal, and triple seals help prevent leakage.
This plug uses a gasket seat, 14mm thread diameter with 1.25mm pitch, and a 12.7mm (1/2") reach. It has a 13/16" (21mm) hex, a 0.039" (1.0mm) gap, and a projected tip. It is specified as resistor: No with a resistor value: 1K ohm, and includes a strengthened ground electrode. Rated at heat range 8 with a 60-day warranty and 30k miles longevity.
