The Mishimoto Universal Air-to-Water Intercooler Dual Pass (Part Number: misMMINT-A2W-DPR-2) is engineered to deliver exceptional cooling efficiency for high-performance automotive applications supporting up to 1500 horsepower. Featuring a bar-and-plate core design, this intercooler ensures durability and effective heat dissipation, making it ideal for demanding builds where maintaining low intake temperatures is critical. Its compact form factor allows for versatile installation in various vehicle configurations, offering the benefits of liquid-to-air intercooling with the convenience of a dual-pass coolant flow system.
Constructed with 5mm-thick cast-aluminum end tanks, each intercooler is custom engineered to maximize airflow and withstand pressures up to 100 psi. The TIG-welded end tanks provide added strength and leak resistance, while the CNC-machined ribbed inlet and outlet coupler connections guarantee a secure fit and maximum grip with intercooler piping. The dual-pass coolant flow design enhances heat transfer efficiency, helping reduce heat soak, mitigate detonation, and produce consistent power output across extended driving conditions.
Designed for ease of installation, the Mishimoto intercooler incorporates -16ORB coolant ports for straightforward plumbing and includes a sturdy 1/8
