Description

The Mishimoto MMRT-F2D-11SMWBK secondary degas tank is a durable replacement for the factory plastic coolant reservoir used in 2011 and newer Ford Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L Powerstroke diesel engine. Designed for the secondary cooling system, this expansion tank helps store and regulate coolant for the secondary radiator and air-to-water intercooler while resisting the heat, pressure, and vibration associated with heavy-duty driving. Its micro-wrinkle black finish complements the engine bay while providing added surface protection.
Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, this replacement degas tank eliminates the common cracking and shattering concerns associated with aging plastic reservoirs. Precision TIG-welded seams provide dependable strength and long-term durability. Internal baffles help keep coolant positioned around the outlet and reduce aeration, even when the truck is operating over rough terrain or under demanding loads. The tank also provides 15.65 percent greater coolant capacity than the factory reservoir, adding reserve volume to the secondary cooling system.
