Description

Protect the high-revving rotary engine in your Mazda RX-8 with the Mishimoto MMSBH-RX8-04 Primary Replacement Oil Line. Designed to replace the corrosion-prone factory line near the front suspension, this direct-fit assembly helps maintain reliable oil flow and temperature control during spirited street driving, high-speed operation, and track use. It is engineered for Mazda RX-8 applications equipped with the factory oil cooling system and installs without cutting, permanent vehicle modifications, or additional fabrication.
The Mishimoto replacement line uses durable braided stainless steel construction with aluminum M18 to -10AN banjo fittings. This upgraded design resists the road debris, dirt, moisture, and winter road salt that can cause the original rubber hose and steel fittings to deteriorate over time. By replacing a vulnerable factory component with a stronger, corrosion-resistant assembly, the MMSBH-RX8-04 supports dependable lubrication and thermal management for the 1.3-liter RENESIS rotary engine.
The kit includes the premade braided stainless steel oil line, M18 banjo bolts, and oil seals for a straightforward installation. It is designed as a direct-fit replacement for applicable 2004-2011 Mazda RX-8 models, including Base, Grand Touring, R3, Shinka, Sport, Touring, and 40th Anniversary Edition trims where equipped.
