Description

Upgrade the charge-air cooling system in your 2017 and newer Ford Super Duty equipped with the 6.7L Powerstroke diesel engine with the Mishimoto MMINT-F2D-17BK Air-to-Water Intercooler. Designed to address internal leakage concerns found with the factory stamped and stacked-plate intercooler, this high-efficiency replacement supports lower intake air temperatures, improved power, and consistent engine performance. Its micro-wrinkle black finish provides a clean, durable appearance suited to demanding truck applications.
The Mishimoto intercooler features cast aluminum end tanks precision TIG welded to a robust bar-and-plate core. Compared with brazed or welded end tanks, the cast design reduces potential leak points and improves long-term durability. The core provides 22 percent greater airflow than the stock 6.7L Powerstroke intercooler, while dyno testing demonstrated gains of up to 40 lb-ft of torque without additional modifications. These improvements help maintain stable charge-air temperatures and boost performance during towing, hauling, and everyday driving.
A mandrel-bent cold-side pipe and silicone couplers with Mishimoto Duracore construction provide dependable connections and resistance to heat, pressure, and repeated engine-bay cycling.
