The Mishimoto Compact Baffled Oil Catch Can (Part Number: misMMBCC-CBTWO-BK) is designed to protect your vehicle’s intake system from oil blow-by and contaminants. Crafted from 100-percent billet 6061 aluminum, this durable catch can features a sealed construction that ensures long-lasting performance. Its compact size makes it ideal for tight engine bays, and the versatile top mounting setup allows installation from multiple angles for maximum flexibility. The two-port configuration includes one inlet and one outlet with 3/8-inch NPT threads, complemented by two black nylon fittings for straightforward setup. The drain plug allows easy maintenance and can be removed for draining excess oil back into the oil pan, simplifying routine servicing. The internal baffle and turbulence diverter optimize oil separation by ensuring all oil particles sink to the bottom of the can, while the 50-micron bronze filter guarantees clean airflow to your intake system. Unlike many other systems, the Mishimoto catch can is not heated, allowing it to condense a broader range of blow-by vapors, including low-octane and contaminated vapors, trapping them effectively and preventing their return to the engine. This design enhances engine cleanliness and performance by permanently removing harmful oil residues from the intake air.
