The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 PCV Side, part number JLT3059P-C, is designed for the 2025-2026 Ford Bronco 2.3L and 2025-2026 Ford Ranger 2.3L EcoBoost. During normal engine operation, crankcase pressure routes oil-laden vapors through the intake system, where they can accumulate in the intake tube and manifold runners. Forced-induction engines can experience increased crankcase pressure, making oil vapor control especially important. This clear anodized separator helps reduce the amount of oil entering the intake while allowing cleaned air to return through the PCV system.
The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 uses a multistage filtration system to capture fine oil vapors. A stainless steel mesh screen traps vapor particles and allows them to collect until they become heavy enough to drop. The vapors then pass through an aluminum honeycomb filter that encourages further condensation before the captured oil falls into the removable lower reservoir. This design helps prevent oil from continuing into the intake, where it may contribute to deposits or reduce effective fuel octane.
Constructed from solid billet aluminum, the J&L JLT3059P-C is built for dependable service and features a knurled tank base for easy removal during maintenance. An O-ring seal helps prevent leakage, while quick-connect PCV fittings simplify installation. The reservoir holds up to 3 fluid ounces and should be inspected and drained periodically, generally every 2,000 to 3,000 miles depending on driving conditions and engine operation. The separator is intended for automotive use and is not CARB approved.

Eligibility

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
