The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 Passenger Side is designed for 2011-2014 Ford Mustang GT models and 2012-2013 Mustang Boss 302 applications. Part number JLT3041P-B uses a remote-mount configuration to help reduce the amount of oil vapor and contaminants routed from the crankcase ventilation system into the intake tract. This can help protect the intake tube, manifold runners, and combustion system from oil accumulation that may dilute fuel and reduce effective octane, particularly on forced-induction engines where crankcase pressure can be higher.
The separator is machined from solid billet aluminum for durable, long-term use and finished in black anodizing for corrosion resistance and a clean appearance. Its knurled tank base makes removal easier when draining collected oil, while the integrated O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. Quick-connect PCV fittings simplify installation and provide a secure connection to the vehicle’s ventilation system. The compact remote-mount design supports flexible placement in the engine compartment when installed according to the vehicle and product requirements.
J&L uses a multistage filtration system to capture fine oil vapors while allowing cleaned air to continue through the intake system. A fine stainless steel mesh screen traps suspended vapor, and the aluminum honeycomb filter encourages the captured oil to combine into heavier droplets that fall into the removable collection tank. The separator holds approximately 3 fluid ounces and should be inspected and drained regularly, typically every 2,000 to 3,000 miles depending on driving conditions and engine setup. This product is intended for automotive use and is not CARB approved.

Eligibility

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
