The J&L Oil Separator 3.0, part number JLT3056D-B, helps reduce the amount of oil vapor and harmful residue routed through the crankcase ventilation system and back into the intake. During normal engine operation, oil vapor can collect in the intake tube, intake manifold runners, and combustion system, potentially reducing intake cleanliness and fuel octane. These effects can be more pronounced on turbocharged and supercharged engines where crankcase pressure is increased. This PCV-side separator is designed for compatible 2023–2026 Ford and Lincoln applications, including the Ford Bronco Sport, Ford Maverick, Ford Escape, and Lincoln Corsair, where applicable.
The separator is machined from solid billet aluminum for durable, long-term service and finished in black anodizing for a clean, corrosion-resistant appearance. Its knurled tank base makes removal easier during maintenance, while the integrated O-ring helps create a secure seal and minimize leakage. The removable collection chamber holds captured fluid for convenient draining and inspection without requiring complicated service procedures.
J&L uses a multistage filtration system to separate fine oil vapors from the PCV airflow. A fine stainless steel mesh screen captures suspended vapor, allowing it to condense and fall into the lower chamber. The airflow then passes through an aluminum honeycomb filter that encourages additional vapor separation before the cleaned air continues toward the intake. This design helps keep oil from being carried downstream while maintaining the crankcase ventilation path.
For best results, inspect and drain the separator approximately every 2,000–3,000 miles, depending on driving conditions, engine condition, and vehicle use. The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 is intended for automotive applications and is not CARB approved. Verify vehicle compatibility and installation requirements before ordering.

Shipping Coverage

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
