The J&L Oil Separator 3.0, part number JLT3018P-C, helps protect the intake system of select Ford Mustang applications from oil vapor carried through the crankcase ventilation system. During normal engine operation, oil vapors can collect in the intake tube, manifold runners, and other components, while forced-induction engines may experience increased crankcase pressure. By separating oil from the ventilation flow, this passenger-side separator helps reduce the amount of oil entering the intake and helps preserve air and fuel system cleanliness.
The separator is manufactured from solid billet aluminum for durable performance and features a clear anodized finish. Its removable, knurled tank base makes draining straightforward, while the O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. Inside, a multistage filtration system combines a fine stainless steel mesh screen with an aluminum honeycomb filter. The screen captures fine oil vapor, allowing it to condense and fall, while the honeycomb media encourages additional separation before the cleaned air continues toward the intake.
The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 holds up to 3 fluid ounces of collected oil and is designed for routine maintenance. Inspect and drain the unit periodically, with service commonly recommended every 2,000 to 3,000 miles depending on driving conditions and engine operation. This product is intended for the passenger side of compatible 1999-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra and 2003-2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1 models. Eligibility

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
