The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 helps protect the intake system of compatible Ford F-150 engines by capturing oil vapor from the crankcase ventilation system before it can collect in the intake tube, manifold runners, or dilute the fuel mixture. This driver-side, black anodized separator is designed for 2011-2017 Ford F-150 models with the 5.0L engine and 2011-2014 Ford F-150 models with the 6.2L engine. Part number JLT3016D-B provides a vehicle-specific solution for managing crankcase oil vapor, especially in vehicles with increased crankcase pressure from forced induction or demanding operation.
The separator uses a multistage filtration system to trap fine oil vapor and return it to the removable collection chamber while allowing cleaner air to continue through the PCV system. A fine stainless steel mesh screen captures suspended vapor, and the aluminum honeycomb filter promotes coalescence so collected oil becomes heavy enough to drain into the tank. The removable base features a knurled surface for easier servicing and an O-ring seal to help prevent leaks.
Milled from solid billet aluminum, the J&L Oil Separator 3.0 is built for durable use in automotive applications. Quick-connect PCV fittings support a clean installation, while the 3-fluid-ounce collection capacity provides convenient service intervals. J&L recommends draining the separator regularly, typically every 2,000 to 3,000 miles, depending on driving conditions and engine operation. This product is intended for off-road or racing use where applicable and is not CARB approved.

Eligibility

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
