The J&L JLT3119P-B Oil Separator 3.0 is designed for the passenger-side crankcase ventilation system on 2022-2026 Hyundai Elantra N models with the 2.0L engine. During normal operation, crankcase pressure can carry oil vapors into the intake tube and manifold, where accumulated oil may reduce intake cleanliness and potentially lower fuel octane. These effects can be more pronounced on turbocharged and supercharged engines. This oil separator helps intercept those vapors before they reach the intake system.
The separator is machined from solid billet aluminum for durable, long-term use and finished in black anodizing. Its knurled tank base allows for convenient removal when draining collected oil, while the O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. The compact reservoir holds up to 3 fluid ounces and is intended to be checked and drained periodically, typically every 2,000 to 3,000 miles depending on driving conditions and engine operation.
J&L uses a multistage filtration system to separate oil from the crankcase vapors. A fine stainless steel mesh screen captures smaller oil particles, allowing them to combine and fall into the removable collection chamber. The vapors then pass through an aluminum honeycomb filter that further promotes condensation and separation before cleaner air continues toward the intake. This design helps reduce the amount of oil vapor entering the engine’s intake tract while maintaining crankcase ventilation flow.

Eligibility

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
