The J&L JLT3117P-B 3.0 Passenger-Side Oil Separator helps reduce oil vapor buildup in the intake tube and manifold runners of the 2.4L Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86. Crankcase ventilation can carry suspended oil vapors into the intake system, where they may coat internal components and contribute to reduced air quality and lower effective fuel octane. This concern can be more pronounced in forced-induction applications, but oil vapor accumulation can occur in any engine using a crankcase ventilation system.
Constructed from solid billet aluminum, the J&L Oil Separator 3.0 provides a durable solution for collecting suspended oil before it can travel into the intake. Its multistage filtration system uses a fine stainless steel mesh screen to capture small oil droplets, followed by an aluminum honeycomb filter that encourages the remaining vapor to condense and fall into the collection chamber. Cleaned air can then continue through the ventilation system. The removable, knurled tank base makes draining straightforward, while the O-ring seal helps prevent leaks during operation.
The separator holds up to 3 fluid ounces of collected oil and is designed for regular maintenance. J&L recommends checking and draining the unit approximately every 2,000 to 3,000 miles, depending on driving conditions and engine use. The black anodized finish provides a clean appearance and additional surface protection. This passenger-side oil separator is designed for 2022-2024 Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 models and includes solid billet construction for dependable long-term use.

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
