The J&L JLT3115D-B Oil Separator 3.0 is designed for the driver side of select 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra and 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia models with the 3.5L turbocharged engine. During normal crankcase ventilation, oil vapor can travel through the intake system, where it may accumulate in the intake tube, manifold runners, and other components. Forced-induction engines can experience increased crankcase pressure, making effective oil vapor separation especially important. This separator helps reduce the amount of oil carried into the intake while allowing cleaner air to continue through the PCV system.
The J&L Oil Separator is machined from solid billet aluminum for durable performance and finished with a black anodized coating. Its removable, knurled tank base makes draining straightforward, while the integrated O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. The compact design installs into the vehicle’s existing PCV system and is engineered specifically for the listed Toyota applications. Regular inspection and draining every 2,000-3,000 miles can help maintain separation performance and prevent the collected fluid from approaching the tank’s capacity.
A multistage filtration system combines a fine stainless steel mesh screen with an aluminum honeycomb filter. The mesh captures fine oil vapors, allowing them to collect and fall once they become heavy enough, while the honeycomb media further promotes condensation and separation. This process helps keep separated oil in the removable bottom reservoir instead of allowing it to continue toward the intake. The J&L JLT3115D-B has a 3-ounce fluid capacity and is supplied as a single driver-side oil separator. It is not CARB approved.

Eligibility

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
