Help protect the intake system of your 2018-2023 Kia Stinger GT 3.3L twin-turbo engine with the J&L JLT3106P-B Oil Separator 3.0. During normal crankcase ventilation, oil-laden vapors can travel through the intake tract, accumulate in the intake tubing and manifold runners, and potentially reduce fuel octane. These effects can be more pronounced on turbocharged engines where crankcase pressure is increased. The J&L oil separator is designed to capture suspended oil vapors before they reach the intake system, helping promote cleaner intake airflow and improved long-term engine maintenance.
The separator is machined from solid billet aluminum for durable, dependable performance. Its black anodized finish provides a clean appearance and added surface protection, while the knurled tank base allows easy removal when draining collected oil. An O-ring seal helps provide a secure, leak-resistant closure for reliable operation in the passenger-side PCV system. The compact design integrates with the vehicle application without requiring direct modification to the engine’s internal components.
A multistage filtration system combines a fine stainless steel mesh screen with an aluminum honeycomb filter. The mesh captures fine oil vapors and allows them to condense, while the honeycomb media encourages additional vapor separation so heavier oil droplets fall into the removable collection chamber. Cleaned air can then continue through the intake tract. The collection tank holds up to 3 fluid ounces and should be inspected and drained periodically, typically every 2,000-3,000 miles depending on driving conditions and engine operation. The J&L JLT3106P-B is designed for the passenger side of 2018-2023 Kia Stinger GT models equipped with the 3.3L twin-turbo engine.
