The J&L JLT3096P-B Oil Separator 3.0 is designed for the PCV side of the 2022-2026 Ford Bronco Raptor equipped with the 3.0L EcoBoost engine. During normal crankcase ventilation, oil-laden vapors can travel into the intake tube and manifold runners, where they may contribute to buildup and potentially reduce fuel octane. Forced-induction engines can experience increased crankcase pressure, making effective vapor separation especially important. This black anodized separator helps collect suspended oil before it reaches the intake system while allowing cleaned air to continue through the PCV circuit.
The J&L oil separator uses a multistage filtration system to capture fine oil vapor. A stainless steel mesh screen traps small droplets and allows them to combine until they become heavy enough to fall. The collected oil then passes into an aluminum honeycomb filter that further encourages vapor condensation and separation. This design helps prevent separated oil from being carried back into the intake. The removable knurled tank base makes draining straightforward, while the O-ring seal helps provide a reliable, leak-resistant connection.
Built from solid billet aluminum, the J&L JLT3096P-B is engineered for durability and dependable service in demanding automotive applications. Quick-connect PCV fittings support a clean installation, and the compact reservoir is designed to collect typical PCV-system oil without requiring frequent maintenance. J&L recommends checking and draining the separator regularly, generally every 2,000 to 3,000 miles, depending on driving conditions and engine operation. This product fits 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 Ford Bronco Raptor models with the 3.0L EcoBoost engine. Not CARB approved.
