Help reduce oil vapor contamination in the intake system of your 2024-2026 Ford Mustang 5.0L with the J&L Oil Separator 3.0 PCV Side, Black Anodized. During normal crankcase ventilation, oil vapor can accumulate in the intake tube and manifold runners, while forced-induction engines may experience increased crankcase pressure. The J&L JLT3091P-B is designed to separate suspended oil from PCV airflow before it can travel back into the intake system.
The separator is milled from solid billet aluminum for durable, long-term performance and finished with a black anodized coating. Its removable, knurled tank base allows for convenient draining, while the O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. Quick-connect PCV fittings support a straightforward installation and secure connection to the factory ventilation system.
A multistage filtration system combines a fine stainless steel mesh screen with an aluminum honeycomb filter. The mesh captures fine oil vapors, allowing them to collect and fall when sufficiently heavy, while the honeycomb media encourages additional condensation before the air continues through the intake. The reservoir holds up to 3 fluid ounces of separated material, and regular servicing every 2,000 to 3,000 miles helps maintain effective operation. The J&L JLT3091P-B fits 2024, 2025, and 2026 Ford Mustang models equipped with the 5.0L engine.
