Help reduce oil vapor buildup in the intake system with the J&L 3.0 Driver-Side Oil Separator, Part Number JLT3087D-B. Designed for the 2014-2019 Chevrolet Corvette equipped with the LT1 6.2L engine, this separator helps capture crankcase oil vapors before they can collect in the intake tube or manifold runners. Controlling this residue can help maintain cleaner intake components and prevent oil vapor from contributing to reduced fuel octane, particularly in forced-induction applications where crankcase pressure may be elevated.
The J&L Oil Separator is machined from solid billet aluminum for durable performance and finished with a black anodized coating. Its removable, knurled tank base allows for quick draining and includes an O-ring seal to help prevent leaks. Quick-connect PCV fittings simplify installation and provide a secure connection to the vehicle’s crankcase ventilation system. The compact design integrates cleanly into the engine bay while providing reliable vapor separation during normal driving.
A multistage filtration system combines a fine stainless steel mesh screen with an aluminum honeycomb filter. The mesh captures fine oil vapors, allowing collected oil to fall as it becomes heavier, while the honeycomb stage further separates vapor before clean air continues toward the intake. The separator holds approximately 3 fluid ounces and should be inspected and drained regularly; J&L recommends servicing it every 2,000 to 3,000 miles. This product is intended for automotive use and is not CARB approved.

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
