The J&L JLT3081D-B 3.0 Driver-Side Oil Separator helps reduce oil vapor and crankcase residue from entering the intake system of your 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro equipped with the LT1 6.2L engine. Crankcase ventilation can carry oil vapors into the intake tube and manifold runners, where they may contribute to buildup and lower the effective octane of the air-fuel mixture. These effects can be more pronounced on forced-induction applications, making effective vapor separation an important part of intake system maintenance.
Milled from solid billet aluminum, this J&L oil separator provides durable construction for long-term automotive use. The knurled tank base allows easy removal when draining collected oil, while the O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. Quick-connect PCV fittings support a clean and efficient installation, and the black anodized finish adds corrosion resistance and a refined appearance in the engine compartment.
The multistage filtration system uses a fine stainless steel mesh screen to capture suspended oil vapor before it passes through an aluminum honeycomb filter. As the vapor condenses into heavier droplets, the collected oil falls into the removable bottom tank while cleaner air continues through the PCV system. The separator holds up to 3 fluid ounces and should be inspected and drained periodically, typically every 2,000 to 3,000 miles, depending on driving conditions and engine operation. This driver-side separator is designed for the listed Camaro applications and is not CARB approved.

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
