The J&L JLT3080P-B 3.0 passenger-side oil separator is designed for 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro models equipped with the LS3 6.2L engine. During normal crankcase ventilation, oil-laden vapors can travel through the intake system, where they may collect in the intake tube and manifold runners or reduce fuel octane. These effects can be more pronounced in forced-induction applications as crankcase pressure increases. This oil separator helps remove suspended oil from the PCV airflow before it reaches the intake system.
The separator is precision milled from solid billet aluminum for durable performance and finished in black anodizing. Its removable, knurled tank base makes draining simple, while an O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. Quick-connect PCV fittings support a straightforward installation and secure hose connections. The compact tank provides a 3-ounce collection capacity, allowing routine maintenance without adding unnecessary bulk to the engine bay.
J&L uses a multistage filtration system to capture fine oil vapors while allowing cleaned air to continue through the intake. A fine stainless steel mesh screen first traps vapor droplets until they become heavy enough to fall into the collection tank. The airflow then passes through an aluminum honeycomb filter that further promotes vapor condensation and separation. For best results, inspect and drain the separator every 2,000 to 3,000 miles, or according to your vehicle’s operating conditions. This product is intended for automotive use and is not CARB approved.

Eligibility

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
