The J&L JLT3078D-B 3.0 Oil Separator helps protect the intake system of early-model 2021–2021.5 Ford Bronco vehicles equipped with the 2.3L EcoBoost engine. During normal crankcase ventilation, oil-laden vapors can travel into the intake tube and manifold, where they may accumulate and reduce intake cleanliness. Forced-induction engines can experience increased crankcase pressure, making oil vapor management especially important. This black anodized separator is designed to capture those contaminants before they reach the intake system.
The separator is machined from solid billet aluminum for durable, long-term service. Its multistage filtration system combines a fine stainless steel mesh screen with an aluminum honeycomb filter to trap oil vapors, allow clean air to pass, and collect condensed oil in the removable reservoir. The knurled tank base makes draining straightforward, while the O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. The reservoir holds up to 3 fluid ounces and should generally be drained every 2,000–3,000 miles, depending on driving conditions and engine operation.
Installation is simplified with quick-connect PCV fittings and a vehicle-specific design for the appropriate Bronco PCV configuration. Ford changed the PCV line location during the 2021 model year, and this kit is intended only for early-production vehicles. The change is believed to have occurred around October 2021 build dates, so compare your vehicle’s PCV line routing with the installation instructions before ordering. This J&L oil separator is not emissions-certified for sale or use in California and may not be legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in all areas.

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
