The J&L JLT3071P-C Oil Separator 3.0 is designed for the passenger side of 2021-2024 Ram 1500 TRX models equipped with the 6.2L supercharged engine. During normal crankcase ventilation, oil vapor can travel through the PCV system and collect in the intake tube, intake manifold runners, and combustion system. This accumulation can contribute to intake contamination and may dilute fuel, reducing its effective octane level. The issue can be more pronounced in forced-induction applications where crankcase pressure is increased.
J&L manufactures this oil separator from solid billet aluminum for durable, long-term service. Its knurled tank base allows for quick removal when draining collected fluid, while the O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. The clear anodized finish adds corrosion resistance and provides a clean appearance in the engine compartment. Quick-connect PCV fittings support a straightforward installation while maintaining a secure connection to the factory ventilation system.
The multistage filtration system uses a fine stainless steel mesh screen to capture small oil vapors and allow them to condense. A 1/2-inch aluminum honeycomb filter then promotes additional separation, causing heavier oil droplets to fall into the removable tank instead of continuing toward the intake. The separator has a 3-ounce fluid capacity and should be inspected and drained regularly, typically every 2,000 to 3,000 miles, depending on driving conditions and engine operation. This application is intended for the passenger side and fits 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Ram 1500 TRX 6.2L supercharged models.

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
