Protect your 2021-2024 Ram 1500 TRX 6.2L supercharged engine with the J&L JLT3071P-B Oil Separator 3.0. Crankcase ventilation can carry oil vapor into the intake tube and manifold, where it may accumulate, reduce intake cleanliness, and potentially lower fuel octane. These effects can be more pronounced on forced-induction engines because of increased crankcase pressure. Designed for the passenger side PCV system, this black anodized oil separator helps capture suspended oil before it reaches the intake.
The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 uses a multistage filtration system to separate fine oil vapor from the airflow. A stainless steel mesh screen traps suspended oil particles, allowing them to combine and fall into the removable collection chamber. The captured oil then passes through an aluminum honeycomb filter that further promotes separation by increasing droplet size and weight. Cleaned air continues through the PCV system while separated oil collects at the bottom of the unit.
Milled from solid billet aluminum, the J&L JLT3071P-B is built for reliable service under demanding conditions. The knurled tank base allows easy removal for draining, while the O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. Quick-connect PCV fittings simplify installation and provide a secure connection to the factory-style ventilation system. The collection chamber holds up to 3 fluid ounces and should be checked and drained periodically, typically every 2,000 to 3,000 miles depending on driving conditions and engine operation. This separator fits 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Ram 1500 TRX models equipped with the 6.2L supercharged engine.
