The J&L JLT3065P-B 3.0 Oil Separator helps reduce the amount of oil vapor and residue routed through the intake system of compatible 2009-2018 Ram 1500 trucks equipped with the 5.7L engine. Crankcase vapors can accumulate in the intake tube and manifold runners, while oil contamination may affect air-fuel quality. This passenger-side oil separator is designed to capture suspended oil before it reaches the intake, supporting cleaner intake components and consistent engine operation.
Constructed from solid billet aluminum, the J&L oil separator provides durable performance in demanding automotive environments. Its knurled tank base makes removal easier when draining collected oil, while the integrated O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. The black anodized finish adds corrosion resistance and gives the separator a clean, understated appearance in the engine bay. The compact design is intended for straightforward installation on the specified application.
The multistage filtration system combines a fine stainless steel mesh screen with an aluminum honeycomb filter. The mesh captures fine oil vapors, allowing them to collect until they become heavy enough to fall into the removable tank. The honeycomb stage further promotes vapor condensation and separation, helping clean air continue through the intake system while collected oil remains contained. The 3-ounce reservoir should be inspected and drained regularly, with service recommended approximately every 2,000 to 3,000 miles depending on driving conditions and engine operation.
Designed for the passenger side, the J&L JLT3065P-B is compatible with select 2009-2018 Dodge and Ram 1500 models using the 5.7L engine. Verify vehicle year, engine configuration, and side-specific fitment before installation. This product is not CARB approved and may not be legal for sale or use in emissions-controlled applications where approval is required.

Eligibility
