The J&L jlt3055D-B 3.0 driver-side oil separator helps reduce the amount of oil vapor routed through the crankcase ventilation system and back into the intake. Oil vapor can accumulate in the intake tube and manifold runners, and forced-induction engines such as the Ford Explorer 2.3L EcoBoost can experience increased crankcase pressure. By separating oil from the PCV airflow, this system helps keep the intake tract cleaner and supports consistent engine operation.
The oil separator is milled from solid billet aluminum for durable performance and features a knurled tank base that allows easy removal for draining. An O-ring seal helps provide a secure, leak-resistant connection. Inside, a multistage filtration system uses a fine stainless steel mesh screen to capture small oil vapors, followed by an aluminum honeycomb filter that promotes further condensation. Separated oil collects in the removable tank while cleaner air continues toward the intake.
Designed for the driver side of 2020-2024 Ford Explorer models equipped with the 2.3L EcoBoost engine, this J&L oil separator includes quick-connect PCV fittings for straightforward installation. The tank holds up to 3 fluid ounces and should be inspected and drained periodically; servicing every 2,000-3,000 miles is recommended based on driving conditions. The black anodized finish provides a durable appearance suitable for engine-bay use. Verify vehicle application before ordering.

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
