The J&L JLT3052P-B 3.0 Oil Separator helps protect the intake system of compatible 2020-2026 Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator 3.0L EcoBoost engines from oil vapor and crankcase contaminants. During crankcase ventilation, oil vapors can accumulate in the intake tube and manifold runners, while forced induction can increase crankcase pressure and worsen buildup. By separating oil from the PCV airflow, this passenger-side oil separator helps reduce the amount of oil entering the intake and helps preserve the fuel mixture’s octane quality.
The J&L oil separator is machined from solid billet aluminum for durable, long-term use. Its knurled tank base allows for quick removal when draining collected oil, while the O-ring seal helps provide a secure, leak-resistant closure. Quick-connect PCV fittings simplify installation and maintain compatibility with the factory-style ventilation system on applicable vehicles. The black anodized finish adds corrosion resistance and a clean, understated appearance in the engine bay.
A multistage filtration system combines a fine stainless steel mesh screen with a 1/2-inch aluminum honeycomb filter. The screen captures fine oil vapor, allowing accumulated droplets to fall into the removable tank, while the honeycomb media further encourages suspended oil to collect before it can continue toward the intake. Cleaned air is then routed back through the PCV system. The reservoir holds 3 fluid ounces and should be inspected and drained periodically, typically every 2,000-3,000 miles depending on driving conditions and engine operation. This J&L separator is designed for the passenger side and fits select 2020-2026 Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator models equipped with the 3.0L EcoBoost engine.

Shipping Coverage

Eligibility

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
