The J&L JLT3047P-B Oil Separator 3.0 helps reduce the amount of oil vapor that travels through the crankcase ventilation system and into the intake tract of your 2015-2017 Ford Expedition with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine. Crankcase vapor can collect in the intake tube and manifold runners, while oil contamination may reduce fuel octane. These conditions can be more pronounced in supercharged and turbocharged applications, making effective vapor separation an important part of intake system maintenance.
The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 uses a multistage filtration system to capture fine oil vapor while allowing cleaned air to continue through the PCV system. A fine stainless steel mesh screen traps vapor particles, and the aluminum honeycomb filter encourages the collected oil to combine, become heavier, and drain into the removable bottom. This design helps prevent separated oil from being carried back into the intake.
Milled from solid billet aluminum, the separator is built for reliable service and features a black anodized finish. The knurled tank base allows convenient removal for draining, while the O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. Quick-connect PCV fittings support a clean installation, and the passenger-side configuration is designed for the specified Ford Expedition application. Regular draining every 2,000-3,000 miles is recommended, depending on driving conditions and engine operation. Professional installation is recommended when required.

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
