The J&L JLT3042P-C 3.0 Oil Separator helps reduce the amount of oil vapor and contaminants routed through the intake system of compatible Ford Super Duty trucks. Crankcase ventilation can carry oil vapor into the intake tube, manifold runners, and combustion process, where it may contribute to buildup and reduced fuel quality. This passenger-side oil separator is designed for use with 2017-2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty models equipped with the 6.2L or 7.3L engine, including applications where increased crankcase pressure is common.
The separator is milled from solid billet aluminum for durable, long-term use and features a clear anodized finish. Its removable, knurled tank base allows convenient draining, while the O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. Quick-connect PCV fittings simplify installation and provide a secure connection to the vehicle’s ventilation system. The compact design integrates into the engine bay without requiring complex maintenance.
J&L uses a multistage filtration system to capture fine oil vapors while allowing cleaner air to continue toward the intake. A fine stainless steel mesh screen traps vapor particles until they become heavy enough to fall, followed by an aluminum honeycomb filter that promotes additional separation. Collected fluid settles in the removable reservoir instead of being directed back into the intake system. The tank holds up to 3 fluid ounces and should be inspected and drained approximately every 2,000 to 3,000 miles, depending on driving conditions and engine operation.
This J&L 3.0 Oil Separator is intended for the passenger-side PCV system and is a direct-fit solution for specified Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty applications. Verify the vehicle year, model, engine, and installation side before ordering. This product is not CARB approved and may not be legal for use on pollution-controlled vehicles in certain areas.

Shipping Coverage

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.
Certain products may not be eligible for return (e.g., special-order items, customized products, or perishable goods).
Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
