The J&L 3.0 Passenger-Side Oil Separator helps protect the intake system of your 2010-2019 Ford Flex EcoBoost V6 from oil vapor and crankcase contaminants routed through the PCV system. During normal engine operation, oil-laden vapors can collect inside the intake tube and manifold runners, while increased crankcase pressure from turbocharged engines can make the problem worse. By capturing these contaminants before they reach the intake, the J&L JLT3035P-B helps reduce buildup and helps prevent oil vapor from affecting fuel quality and engine performance.
The oil separator is machined from solid billet aluminum for durable, long-term service. Its knurled tank base provides a secure grip for removal during maintenance, while the integrated O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. Quick-connect PCV fittings simplify installation and provide a clean connection to the factory system. The black anodized finish adds corrosion resistance and a discreet appearance in the engine compartment.
Inside, a multistage filtration system uses a fine stainless steel mesh screen to capture small oil vapors and allow them to condense. The collected oil then passes into an aluminum honeycomb filter, where additional vapor separation causes contaminants to become heavy enough to drop into the removable collection tank. Cleaned air continues through the PCV system toward the intake. The tank provides a 3-ounce capacity and should be inspected and drained regularly, typically every 2,000 to 3,000 miles depending on driving conditions. This J&L oil separator is designed for the passenger side of the specified Ford Flex EcoBoost V6 application.

Eligibility

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
