The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator helps reduce the amount of oil vapor and suspended contaminants routed through the PCV system and back into the intake. Designed for the driver side of 2005-2010 Ford F-150 models with the 5.4L engine, the J&L jlt3033D-C features a solid billet aluminum body with a clear anodized finish for durable, long-term service. Reducing oil accumulation in the intake tube and manifold can help maintain cleaner intake components and prevent oil vapor from contributing to reduced fuel octane.
The multistage filtration system uses a fine stainless steel mesh screen to capture small oil vapors and help separate them from the airflow. A 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter further encourages the collected oil to condense and drain into the removable reservoir while allowing cleaned air to continue through the intake system. This design is suitable for naturally aspirated and forced-induction applications where increased crankcase pressure can contribute to greater oil vapor movement.
The separator includes quick-connect PCV fittings for a straightforward installation and a knurled tank base that allows convenient removal for draining. An O-ring seal helps prevent leaks, while the reservoir provides a 3-ounce capacity. For effective maintenance, inspect and drain the separator every 2,000-3,000 miles or according to your vehicle's operating conditions. Verify vehicle and engine compatibility before installation; this product is intended for the listed Ford F-150 5.4L applications and is not CARB approved.

Eligibility

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
