The J&L JLT3028P-C Oil Separator 3.0 is designed for the passenger side of 2021-2026 Ford F-150 models equipped with the 3.5L PowerBoost engine. During normal operation, crankcase vapors can carry oil into the intake tube, manifold runners, and combustion system. This buildup can reduce intake cleanliness and may dilute fuel, lowering its effective octane level. These effects can be more pronounced in forced-induction applications where crankcase pressure is increased.
The J&L oil separator uses a solid billet aluminum body with a clear anodized finish for durable, long-term service. Its knurled tank base allows convenient removal for draining collected oil, while the integrated O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. Quick-connect PCV fittings support a straightforward installation and maintain secure hose connections during operation.
Inside, the multistage filtration system combines a fine stainless steel mesh screen with an aluminum honeycomb filter. The screen captures fine oil vapors, allowing them to condense and fall into the removable collection chamber. The honeycomb media further encourages vapor separation so that heavier oil remains in the separator instead of continuing toward the intake. Cleaned air is then routed back through the PCV system.
The separator has a 3-ounce fluid capacity and should be inspected and drained approximately every 2,000 to 3,000 miles, depending on driving conditions and engine use. The J&L JLT3028P-C is intended for the passenger side and provides a durable solution for reducing oil vapor accumulation in the intake system of compatible Ford F-150 3.5L PowerBoost applications.

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.

Refunds
