The J&L JLT3024D-C 3.0 Driver-Side Oil Separator is designed for select 2018-2023 Ford Mustang GT models, including the 2019 Bullitt and 2018-2020 Mustang GT applications. During normal crankcase ventilation, oil-laden vapors can travel through the intake tubing and manifold, where they may accumulate and potentially reduce fuel octane. These effects can be more pronounced on supercharged and turbocharged engines because of increased crankcase pressure. This clear-anodized oil separator helps reduce the amount of oil vapor routed back into the intake system.
The J&L oil separator uses a multistage filtration system to capture fine oil vapors while allowing cleaned air to continue through the PCV system. A fine stainless steel mesh screen traps suspended oil particles, and a 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter further separates the vapor as it passes through the unit. Captured oil collects in the removable bottom rather than continuing into the intake. The separator holds up to 3 fluid ounces and can be drained during routine maintenance, typically every 2,000 to 3,000 miles depending on driving conditions and engine operation.

Eligibility
