The J&L JLT3022P-B 3.0 Oil Separator helps reduce the amount of oil vapor and contaminant buildup entering the intake system of your 2013-2019 Ford Explorer Sport equipped with the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine. Crankcase ventilation can carry oil vapors into the intake tube and manifold runners, where they may contribute to deposits and reduce intake air quality. This passenger-side oil separator is designed to intercept those vapors before they reach the intake tract, supporting cleaner engine operation.
The multistage filtration system uses a fine stainless steel mesh screen to capture suspended oil vapor, followed by an aluminum honeycomb filter that encourages the collected oil to condense and drain into the removable tank. The billet aluminum construction provides durability, while the knurled tank base allows for convenient removal during service. An O-ring seal helps prevent leaks, and quick-connect PCV fittings simplify installation. The black anodized finish adds corrosion resistance and a clean appearance in the engine compartment.
With a 3-ounce collection capacity, the J&L 3.0 Oil Separator is intended to be checked and drained periodically. J&L recommends servicing the separator approximately every 2,000 to 3,000 miles, depending on driving conditions and vehicle use. This unit is designed for the passenger side of the PCV system and fits 2013-2019 Ford Explorer Sport models with the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine. Verify vehicle application before ordering.

Eligibility

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
