The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator is designed to help protect the intake system of select Ford Mustang applications by capturing oil vapor from the crankcase ventilation system before it can travel into the intake tube, manifold runners, and combustion chambers. Crankcase vapor is common on all engines and can be more pronounced in supercharged and turbocharged applications, where increased crankcase pressure may carry additional oil into the intake tract. By reducing this buildup, the J&L JLT3018D-B helps support cleaner intake components and more consistent engine operation.
The separator uses a multistage filtration system consisting of a fine stainless steel mesh screen and an aluminum honeycomb filter. The mesh captures fine oil vapor, allowing the collected oil to condense and fall into the removable reservoir, while the honeycomb media further separates suspended oil before clean air continues through the PCV system. The knurled billet aluminum tank base makes removal easier during service, and an O-ring seal helps prevent leaks.
Milled from solid billet aluminum and finished in black anodizing, the J&L Oil Separator 3.0 is built for durability and a clean appearance in the engine bay. The reservoir holds up to 3 fluid ounces and should be inspected and drained regularly; servicing approximately every 2,000 to 3,000 miles is recommended, depending on driving conditions and engine configuration. This driver-side separator fits the 1999-2004 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra and 2003-2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Installation hardware and vehicle-specific fitment should be verified before installation.

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.
Certain products may not be eligible for return (e.g., special-order items, customized products, or perishable goods).
Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
Return Process

Refunds
