The J&L JLT3012P-C Oil Separator 3.0 is designed for the passenger side of 2007-2014 Ford Mustang GT500 models. During normal crankcase ventilation, oil vapors can travel through the intake system, where they may collect in the intake tube and manifold runners or reduce the effective octane of the fuel. These vapors can be more prevalent in supercharged and turbocharged applications because of increased crankcase pressure. This J&L oil separator helps reduce the amount of oil that reaches the intake by separating oil vapor from the PCV airflow before it is routed back into the engine.
The separator is machined from solid billet aluminum for durable performance and features a clear anodized finish. Its multistage filtration system combines a fine stainless steel mesh screen with an aluminum honeycomb filter to capture fine oil vapor, encourage it to condense, and allow the collected fluid to fall into the removable tank. Cleaned air continues through the PCV system while the captured oil remains contained for convenient servicing. Quick-connect PCV fittings support a straightforward installation, and the knurled tank base makes removal easier when draining the separator.
The J&L JLT3012P-C has a 3-ounce fluid capacity and uses an O-ring seal to help prevent leaks. For routine maintenance, inspect and drain the separator approximately every 2,000 to 3,000 miles, depending on driving conditions and engine use. This passenger-side oil separator is intended for the listed Ford Mustang GT500 fitment, including 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 models. Verify vehicle application before installation. This product is not CARB approved.

Eligibility
