The J&L 3.0 Passenger Side Oil Separator is designed for the 2020-2022 Ford Mustang GT500 to help reduce oil vapor and other crankcase contaminants from entering the intake system. During normal operation, crankcase pressure can carry oil vapor into the intake tube and manifold runners, where it may accumulate and potentially reduce intake cleanliness and fuel octane. This effect can be more pronounced in forced-induction applications such as the supercharged GT500. The J&L part number JLT3054P-B provides a dedicated passenger-side solution for managing these contaminants.
The separator is machined from solid billet aluminum for durable performance and features a black anodized finish. Its multistage filtration system combines a fine stainless steel mesh screen with a 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter to capture fine oil vapor, encourage it to condense, and collect it in the removable tank base. Cleaned air can then continue through the PCV system while separated oil remains contained. Quick-connect PCV fittings support a straightforward installation and service process.
A knurled tank base makes draining convenient, while the O-ring seal helps prevent leaks during use. The reservoir holds up to 3 fluid ounces and should be inspected and drained periodically, typically every 2,000 to 3,000 miles depending on driving conditions and engine operation. This oil separator is intended for automotive applications and is not CARB approved. Prop 65 warning requirements may apply.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
