The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator helps reduce the amount of oil vapor routed through the crankcase ventilation system and back into the intake. Oil vapor can accumulate in the intake tube and manifold runners, while forced-induction engines may experience increased crankcase pressure. Designed for the 2012-2017 Jeep Wrangler JK with the 3.6L engine, this passenger-side separator helps keep the intake tract cleaner while supporting consistent engine operation. The J&L part number is JLT3064D-B.
The separator uses a multistage filtration system to capture fine oil vapor before it can continue into the intake. A fine stainless steel mesh screen traps suspended vapor, allowing it to condense and fall into the collection chamber. The captured oil then passes through an aluminum honeycomb filter that encourages additional condensation, while cleaner air continues through the PCV system. This design helps prevent collected oil from being carried back into the intake.
Constructed from solid billet aluminum, the J&L oil separator is built for durable service and features a black anodized finish. The knurled removable tank base makes draining straightforward, while the O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. Quick-connect PCV fittings support a clean installation and convenient maintenance. The collection tank holds 3 fluid ounces and should be checked and drained periodically, with service commonly recommended every 2,000 to 3,000 miles depending on driving conditions and engine operation.

Eligibility

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
