The J&L 3.0 Driver Side Oil Separator helps reduce the amount of oil vapor routed through the crankcase ventilation system and back into the intake tract. Crankcase vapors can accumulate in the intake tube and manifold runners, while forced-induction engines may experience increased crankcase pressure. Designed for the 1999-2004 Ford F-150 Lightning, this J&L oil separator helps protect intake system cleanliness and supports consistent engine performance by separating oil from the air before it reaches the intake.
The J&L part number JLT3027D-B is built from solid billet aluminum for durable, long-term use. Its knurled tank base makes removal easier when draining collected oil, while the O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. The black anodized finish provides a clean appearance and added surface protection suitable for the engine compartment.
Filtration uses a multistage design that combines a fine stainless steel mesh screen with an aluminum honeycomb filter. The mesh captures fine oil vapors, allowing them to condense and fall into the removable collection chamber. The honeycomb stage further slows and separates remaining vapor before it can continue into the intake. The separator has a 3-fluid-ounce capacity and should be inspected and drained periodically, typically every 2,000 to 3,000 miles depending on driving conditions and engine setup.
This driver-side oil separator fits select 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 Ford F-150 applications, including the 2004 F-150 Heritage. Verify vehicle application before installation. Professional installation is recommended when required, and this product is not CARB approved.

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.
Certain products may not be eligible for return (e.g., special-order items, customized products, or perishable goods).
Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
Return Process

Refunds
