The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator, part number JLT3019P-B, is designed for the passenger side of 1999-2004 Ford Mustang GT models. During normal operation, crankcase pressure routes oil vapors back through the intake system, where they can collect in the intake tube and manifold runners or contribute to reduced fuel octane. This effect can be more pronounced on forced-induction engines. The J&L oil separator helps reduce the amount of oil vapor entering the intake by separating and collecting it before it travels downstream.
Constructed from solid billet aluminum, the J&L 3.0 features a durable black anodized finish and a knurled tank base for convenient removal during service. An O-ring seal helps prevent leaks, while the removable collection tank provides a practical way to drain captured oil. The tank holds up to 3 fluid ounces, and periodic draining helps maintain effective operation of the crankcase ventilation system.
The multistage filtration system uses a fine stainless steel mesh screen to capture oil vapor particles and allow them to condense. A 1/2-inch aluminum honeycomb filter provides additional separation by encouraging smaller droplets to combine and fall into the collection tank. Cleaner air can then continue through the ventilation system toward the intake. For best results, inspect and drain the separator approximately every 2,000 to 3,000 miles, depending on engine condition and driving habits. This product is intended for automotive use and is not CARB approved.

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
