Description

The Exedy FF502A Lightweight Flywheel is engineered to improve engine response and acceleration by reducing rotating mass and inertia. Constructed from a single piece of billet chromoly steel, it delivers exceptional strength and long-term durability, making it suitable for light to moderately tuned racing applications such as drag racing, autocross, rally, or spirited street driving.

Weighing approximately 12.7 pounds, this flywheel enhances throttle response and overall drivability. Its specialized airflow design promotes better clutch cooling, extending component life and ensuring consistent performance under demanding conditions. Unlike aluminum flywheels with pressed-on ring gears, the FF502A integrates the ring gear directly into the flywheel, eliminating separation risks and ensuring reliable engagement at high RPMs.

Tested to withstand engine speeds up to 18,000 RPM and SFI approved, this flywheel provides a safe and proven alternative to OE dual-mass flywheels.
