EBC Ultimax2 rear brake pads, part number UD1898, are engineered as a dependable OEM replacement for select Audi A4, A4 Quattro, and A4 allroad applications. Manufactured at EBC Brakes’ Bristol, UK facility, the Ultimax compound is designed for daily driving, urban commuting, and light-duty use where consistent braking, long service life, and low rotor wear are priorities. These black-coded pads provide a practical alternative to original equipment pads while maintaining the quality and safety expected from a premium European brake component.
The Ultimax friction compound uses an optimized blend with a controlled amount of steel fiber to deliver reliable stopping performance without the excessive metallic content found in some competing formulations.
