Upgrade rear braking performance with the EBC Ultimax Slotted Disc Set, part number RK7579. Designed as an OE-style replacement for select Toyota 4Runner, Toyota FJ Cruiser, and Lexus GX460 applications, this vented rear rotor set delivers dependable braking performance with a quiet operating profile. The progressively angled slots provide the benefits of a slotted rotor while minimizing the air noise commonly associated with more aggressive slot designs.
The angled slots help draw cooling air across the braking surface to support cooler brake operation during repeated stops. They also help remove excess brake dust, debris, and gases from between the pad and rotor, helping maintain consistent pad contact and grip. This design can contribute to more even pad wear and longer pad service life while preserving smooth, confident braking for daily driving and demanding road conditions.
This EBC Ultimax OE-style rear disc kit is engineered for applications using FMSI pad number D606. The rotors feature six bolt holes, a 12.28-inch diameter, a 2.68-inch height, a 0.71-inch thickness, and a 4.25-inch center hole diameter.
