EBC UD1613 Ultimax2 rear brake pads are engineered as a high-quality OEM replacement for select BMW cars equipped with ATE calipers. Manufactured in the United Kingdom, the Ultimax compound provides dependable friction, consistent braking performance, low rotor wear, and minimal dust for urban driving, commuting, and everyday road use. This black-coded EBC brake pad range is designed for drivers who want reliable stopping performance without the added cost or aggressive characteristics of a dedicated performance compound.
The Ultimax friction material uses an optimized blend with a small percentage of steel fiber to support durability and value while maintaining smooth, predictable braking behavior. Once properly bedded in, these pads deliver confident performance across a broad operating temperature range and are suitable for cars, light trucks, and SUVs. EBC Ultimax pads are also fully ECE R90 approved, supporting dependable brake safety and consistent manufacturing standards. Always inspect the complete braking system and follow the vehicle manufacturer’s service procedures when replacing brake pads.
Each EBC UD1613 pad set includes shimmed, slotted, and chamfered pads with OE-style hardware for a straightforward replacement. The pads are identified by FMSI pad number D1613 and are intended for rear brake applications on compatible BMW vehicles, including select 2 Series, 3 Series, and 4 Series models.
