Designed for the 2020-2022 Audi TT RS Quattro, these high-performance rotors combine a cast iron friction ring with a precision-machined aluminum center bell to reduce unsprung rotational mass while maintaining the durability required for repeated hard braking.
Feature: High-copper, high-carbon G3500 cast iron friction rings provide consistent performance and effective heat management under demanding braking conditions. Feature: Aerospace-grade aluminum bells are precision machined and hard anodized for a durable finish and long-term corrosion resistance. Feature: EBC patented SD-Drive floating bobbins allow the outer friction ring to expand and contract freely as temperatures change, helping minimize thermal stress and maintain reliable operation.
Each bobbin is machined from a single piece of stainless steel to resist corrosion and preserve smooth floating action over time. Anti-rattle spring clips at every bobbin location help keep the system quiet during normal driving, eliminating the off-brake-disc rattle commonly associated with some race-focused two-piece rotor systems. This design delivers a refined solution for high-performance road use and track applications.
The two-piece construction also supports efficient long-term maintenance. When the cast iron friction ring reaches the end of its service life, the outer ring can be replaced while the center bell and stainless-steel bobbins are reused, helping reduce future replacement requirements. The EBC SG2F038 front rotors are supplied as a matched two-piece braking solution and are intended for compatible Audi TT RS Quattro applications.
