This complete front brake kit combines high-friction Bluestuff track-day and street brake pads with premium EBC GD rotors and caliper lubricant, providing a convenient matched solution for spirited driving and occasional track use. The kit is designed for select Ford Mustang applications and offers a practical alternative to purchasing the components separately.
The Bluestuff pads are engineered to deliver strong bite from cold while handling the elevated heat associated with short track sessions. EBC’s patented Brake-in coating helps support the bedding process, while the GD rotors feature Thermic Black anti-corrosion coating for improved resistance to rust. The rotors are fully balanced and runout tested to promote smooth, consistent braking. This kit fits the front axle of select 1994 through 1996 Ford Mustang 5.0 Mach 1 applications and is also listed for select Ford Mustang model years from 1995 through 2004; verify the vehicle’s exact brake configuration before ordering.
Do not install upgraded rear pads unless the same level of upgrade is installed on the front axle. The Thermic Black coating is intended to remain on the rotor during installation and will be removed naturally from the pad-swept area during the first several stops. Do not use brake cleaner or another method to remove the coating, as improper removal may void the EBC warranty. After installation, follow the recommended bedding procedure and inspect the brake system carefully before driving.
These pads are suitable for street driving after proper bedding and can withstand demanding short track use. Track drivers should monitor pad and rotor wear frequently, approximately every 10 laps, because braking components may wear more quickly in competition-style conditions. Race use is not covered by the warranty. Professional installation is recommended when servicing brake components.
