EBC Racing RP-1 Race Front Brake Pads, part number DP82454RP1, are engineered for high-temperature track and race use on select BMW M3, M4, and M2 models equipped with cast iron rotors. These automotive brake pads deliver true race performance while maintaining a progressive pedal feel and precise modulation. They are designed for light- to medium-weight cars, vehicles without EBC Big Brake Kits, and applications without ABS, providing predictable braking control throughout demanding driving sessions.
RP-1 is distinguished by its exceptionally low disc wear, measuring lower than virtually all other competing race materials tested by EBC Racing. The compound also offers good pad life, helping support consistent performance over repeated track use. Compared with EBC RP-X, RP-1 provides a 25 percent lower friction coefficient across its operating temperature range, making it a more manageable choice for drivers who prioritize smooth, controllable braking rather than maximum aggressiveness.
The EBC RP-1 compound avoids the snatchy pedal feel and high noise commonly associated with some race brake pads. Its progressive response helps drivers modulate braking more accurately when approaching corners, while its high-temperature capability supports reliable performance under race conditions. For heavy or inherently under-servoed vehicles that require a more aggressive compound, EBC Racing RP-X may be the preferred option. This RP-1 front pad set is designed for compatible 2021 and newer BMW M3 and M4 applications, as well as 2023 and newer BMW M2 models, with fitment dependent on the vehicle configuration and cast iron rotor setup.

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.

Refunds
